NOTES:

Any reference to NRS 241.030 is to comply with the Nevada Open Meeting Law. NRS 241.030(1) states in relevant part: Nothing contained in this chapter prevents a public body from holding a closed meeting to consider the character, alleged misconduct, professional competence, or physical or mental health of any person.

If an applicant, a licensee or a person from the public, requests Board members abstention based upon a conflict of interest, they must state their objection on the record before any discussion of the particular item.

Public comment is welcomed by the Board. The President will request anyone wishing to comment on any action item mentioned on the agenda to do so before a motion is made. Public comments will be heard only when that item on the agenda is reached and will be limited to five (5) minutes per person. The President may allow additional time to a given speaker as time allows and in his/her sole discretion.

The Board may address agenda items out of order to aid in the efficiency or effectiveness of the meeting and/or accommodate persons appearing before the board, applicants, board members and staff.

We are pleased to make reasonable accommodations for members of the public who are disabled and wish to attend the meeting.
