Minutes for the Public Workshop of LCB File No. R043-03

1. Workshop Meeting called to order at 9:10 a.m. and roll call was taken.

2. Board Members and Staff Present: Phillip Minton, Wendy Gallerani (Executive
Director), Ned Reed (Deputy Attorney General), Dave Edwards, Daniel Royal, Linda Read, Fuller Royal

Members of the Public Present: Robert Field, A.P.H., Frank Shallenberger, M.D., H.M.D.

3. The Board of Homeopathic Medical Examiners is proposing to make LCB File No. R043-03 a permanent regulation. This regulation pertains to the practice of Homeopathic Medicine over the Internet. It had been previously adopted as a temporary regulation.

David Edwards and Phillip Minton spoke in support of the regulation and the requirement to see a patient before treating the patient over the internet.
